A strong FNP practicum supports clinical reasoning across ages rather than relying on a single broad label. Patient population, health promotion, common illness, chronic condition management, development, aging, and follow-up can all matter, but the program decides which experiences belong in this course.

The search can span family medicine, community clinics, pediatric offices, internal medicine, adult and geriatric primary care, reproductive health, and other settings that deliver genuine primary care.
